Timber Works – Wood Turning...
Back in January I wrote about a couple, Nancy and Rolly Hill that we met at the Kleinburg Binder Twine Festival. It was a wonderful festival, because we also met a fabulous “wood turner”, Arnold Veen! Arnold owns Timber Works Wood Turning and presents his creations all over Southern Ontario. And, I might add that his work is VERY popular! I remember visiting his booth at last year’s Cobourg Waterfront Festival. He had sold so many pieces that he was concerned that he might run out of product! A few weeks later I spoke to Arnold after he had completed another show.

He told me that his work had been just as popular at this show! So how does he keep up with his sales? It simple, during the winter months Arnold works very hard to create enough products for the spring/summer/fall selling season. Fortunately, Arnold has been at his craft for many years and has a keen eye when it comes to wood and design. As a result, he can produce wonderful unique wood turnings fairly quickly. Make sure you visit Arnold’s booth at one of the many shows he participates in (See list below) of visit his website at http://www.timberworkswoodturning.com. You’ll be glad you did!
